Important Requirement: 

An active Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license is required to be considered for this position. Candidates who do not currently possess an LME license will not be eligible.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role requires a strong electrical aptitude, the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues, and a commitment to minimizing downtime through effective troubleshooting and preventative maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues using machine error messages, test results, and operator feedback.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
• Wire electric motors and electrical components.
• Utilize HMI interfaces, voltmeters, and other testing equipment to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Minimize equipment downtime through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and company safety procedures.
• Promote a safe, clean work environment while supporting food safety initiatives.

Qualifications: 

Required

• Active Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot equipment failures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Preferred

• Technical training or certifications beyond high school
• Experience within food manufacturing or processing environments
• Familiarity with PLCs and Allen-Bradley / RSLogix systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance
