Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Purchasing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• High School diploma required, associate’s degree or coursework in business, supply chain, procurement or related field preferred.
• Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory or administrative support role in a related environment (manufacturing, industrial services, etc.)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with purchasing software or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Basic math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, freight, etc.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
