Production Lead - $16.00/HOUR

A company in West El Paso needs a Production Lead. The Production Lead is responsible to make sure of proper set up of machines to mix or blend materials for conventional and synthetic stucco products. Responsible for maintaining weight consistency, quality control, timely processing and reporting batch sheets for all products produced in order to ensure accurate handling of orders and inventory levels. Responsible to verify and maintain an orderly maintenance of materials in all warehouses and yard so as to ensure easy access, inventory control and prompt delivery. Responsible to maintain pace of production in order to meet production standards. Responsible to direct Production Level I and Production level II employees on their assigned production lines. Responsible for taking care of the company’s
equipment; such as maintaining that the fluid levels are correct and that all repairs to the company vehicles, equipment and forklifts have been reported to Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Package, palletize, stretch wrap and store stucco products for customers.
2. Production and warehouse area must be kept clean and organized at all times.
3. Must accurately load and unload trucks for deliveries with correct materials and performs a double check of load or delivery by employees at all times.
4. Responsible for updating Plant Manager on any maintenance needed on company machinery, vehicles and forklifts.
5. Ensures that warehouse and production area is kept clean, safe, and maintained with good housekeeping practices. Refuse must be disposed of properly to keep warehouse and yard in a clean and orderly state.
6. Reports all damaged material promptly so that damaged material can be examined by the Plant Manager.
7. Communicates with the Plant Manager on all problems relating to the Sales Order or Packing Slip.
8. Makes sure machinery, vehicles and forklifts are used in a proper manner.
