Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a local fleet/transportation client.

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced working in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers
• Repair brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulics
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure equipment is safe and road-ready

Requirements:
• Previous diesel mechanic experience required
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and shop equipment
• Own basic tools preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation
• Successful drug screen
• Must meet background screening requirements
