Location: Salem, OR
Pay: $20–$24/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM–3:30 PM

 

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a skilled Precision Manufacturing Technician for a growing Salem-area manufacturer. This position is ideal for candidates with machining, fabrication, welding, and precision measurement experience who enjoy hands-on technical work in a quality-focused environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform intricate machining and drilling operations
• Operate laser engraving equipment
• Work with G-code and/or manufacturing-related programming
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform mathematical calculations and measurement conversions
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Manufacturing, machining, or fabrication experience

Experience with precision measuring instruments

Familiarity with G-code or other programming languages

 Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Strong math and measurement conversion skills

Welding experience preferred

 Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
