Duties:
- Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment according to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and setting up workpieces for sandblasting.
-Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper blasting techniques and surface finishes.
- Inspect finished workpieces to verify conformity with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Adhere to safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator, specifically with sandblasting equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for handling abrasive materials and operating machinery.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
