Salary: $18.00 hr

Machine Operator - Up to $15-$16/hr.

Summary:

As a machine operator will be responsible for operation of fabricating machines that punch, shape, cut, bend and structure.  

  Responsibilities:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
• Accurate operation of machine.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must have good work ethics and have the capacity to learn other responsibilities throughout the shop.
• Qualifications: 
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to proficiently read a tape measure.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
