Schedule: Friday – Sunday 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour ($17.00 base pay + $1.00 shift differential)

Job Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the facility. Duties include cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces while following company safety and sanitation procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, equipment, and surfaces.
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, and common areas.
• Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings or events.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

Working Conditions

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or office environment.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• May require overtime or additional hours based on business needs.
