Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for multiple Production Associates!

Position Summary: Our client is seeking motivated Production Associates to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality building products by operating equipment, assembling components, inspecting finished products, and assisting throughout the manufacturing process. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that offers opportunities to learn multiple areas of production and develop valuable manufacturing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment while following standard work procedures and safety guidelines
• Cut, process, and assemble product components using a variety of hand and power tools
• Load materials into machines and production equipment
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Utilize material handling equipment to move products and materials throughout the facility
• Inspect products and equipment to ensure quality standards are met
• Pull materials and prepare labels as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Cross-train in multiple production areas and support special projects as needed
• Assist with housekeeping and general production duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn multiple positions throughout the facility
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills in English
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Commitment to workplace safety
• MUST be able to pass a pre-employment Background Sc

Hours:

• 1st Shift
• 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Overtime and Saturday work may be required based on production needs
• Long-term opportunity

Pay:

• $16.50 - $17.00/hour
