Entry-Level Welder – Structural Steel

We are hiring entry-level welders! Have you ever wanted a welding career but don't have the experience required — we provide paid, on-the-job training. If you're hardworking, reliable, and ready to learn a trade, we want to meet you. This position is Monday - Saturday, 6:00am - 6:00pm.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, flux-core, or stick) to join structural steel beams, columns, and plates
• Read basic blueprints and weld symbols under the guidance of experienced welders
• Tack and weld components to meet quality and code standards
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe

What We're Looking For

• No prior welding experience necessary; certificate or vocational training a plus but not required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn
• Able to work well as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials weighing 70+ lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Must pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with heat, noise, and welding fumes while wearing required PPE
