Get in on the Ground Floor! Our client, a growing National Recycling Company has opened in Northeast San Antonio and is looking for Dismantle Technician  Pay is $15.50 an hour. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. This is a short-term opportunity.

Duties for the Production Operator position include:

• Carefully dismantle laptops using standard hand tools (screwdrivers, pry tools).
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure efficient processing.
• Dismantling equipment using hands and simple hand tools
• Separate and sort extracted components into 5 designated categories, primarily focusing on 

  • Circuit Boards (extracted without damage)

  • Batteries (removed and handled according to standard safety protocols)

  • Laptop Screens (requires careful removal and basic visual/functional grading to sort into "Good" or "Bad" bins)

  • Plastics, metals, and remaining casing materials.

 Requirements for the Dismantle Technician position are:

• Must have Manufacturing experience!!!
• Must be able to listen, understand and follow directions
• Be flexible to work different stations within the production floor
• Be a good team player
• This is a medium lift job that requires some lifting of 20-to-25-pound objects. Max occasional lift is 50 pounds.
• Must pass background check.

• Workers will be responsible for the manual tear-down and sorting of end-of-life laptops. This role requires basic hand-tool dexterity and the ability to accurately sort components into specific recycling streams.

The Dismantle Technician position is a short-term opportunity. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday with 30-minute lunch. Water, Gatorade and Ice-Pops provided by company.
