Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (1st Shift)

Summary:
Our client in Elgin, IL is seeking a dependable Shipper Packer to join their 1st shift warehouse team. In this role, you will prepare, package, and ship customer orders accurately and on time, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and staging of finished goods. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals looking for steady daytime hours in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare customer orders for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying against shipping documentation
Package materials according to company and carrier requirements to prevent damage during transit
Generate, apply, and verify shipping labels, packing slips, and bills of lading
Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (if certified)
Stage completed shipments for pickup by carriers
Verify shipment accuracy, quantities, and part numbers prior to shipment
Communicate shipment issues, shortages, or damages to supervisor
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
