Salary: $17.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $17.00/HR

Duties: 

  • Operate metal shear equipment safely and efficiently to meet production requirements
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production schedules
  • Verify material dimensions and specifications prior to processing
  • Set up, adjust, and monitor metal shear equipment for optimal performance
  • Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring devices
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain accurate production counts and complete required documentation
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs as necessary
  • Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience operating metal shear equipment preferred
  • Experience with metal fabrication equipment such as press brakes, saws, CNC machines, or similar machinery
  • Prior manufacturing or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications
  • Proficiency using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
  • Dependable with strong attendance and reliability
  • Safety-conscious mindset with the ability to follow procedures consistently
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
