Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-2pm, Friday's 5:30am-1pm
Pay: $19 per hour
Description:
Our client, a food manufacturing company in Novato, is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to support daily operations. This role plays a key part in warehouse logistics and production support, including operating a forklift to load and unload trailers, moving materials throughout the facility, and assisting with packaging and order preparation. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in both warehouse and production environments, including freezer areas.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload pallets from trailers throughout the day using a forklift
- Operate a forklift and electric pallet jack to move, stage, and store materials safely
- Assist with food production, packaging, and staging as needed
- Support the packaging department with casing and building pallets for shipment
- Move finished products and ingredients within production and freezer areas
- Support shipping and receiving of materials and finished goods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow food safety and workplace safety guidelines
Qualifications or Requirements:
- Forklift and electric pallet jack experience required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Previous warehouse, production, or food manufacturing experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
