Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a front desk environment, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will support daily administrative functions while assisting with logistics coordination and shipment scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner

  • Greet and assist customers, visitors, and vendors

  • Perform data entry, filing, and general administrative support tasks

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Support scheduling of full truckload (FTL) and volume shipments

  • Coordinate and schedule less-than-truckload (LTL) sales orders

  • Provide backup support for FTL, ISO, and buyback/reclaim processes during peak seasons

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and transportation providers

  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and problem resolution

  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous administrative, customer service, or logistics experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Ability to identify problems, gather information, and implement solutions

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Patient, professional, and customer-focused demeanor

Preferred Experience

  • Logistics, transportation, shipping, or supply chain experience

  • Experience scheduling FTL and LTL shipments

  • Front desk or receptionist experience
