Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Laundromat Attendant to support daily operations at a local laundromat. This role focuses on customer assistance, facility cleanliness, and basic machine upkeep to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests.
Position starts immediately and the starting wage is $17hr. Hours will vary for training but the shift will be mostly 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. 5 days per week. Additional hours may be available depending on needs.
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including floors, folding tables, restrooms, and common areas
Wipe down machines, remove lint, and ensure washers/dryers are clean and ready for use
Assist customers with machine operation, coin changers, and troubleshooting simple issues
Monitor machines for proper operation and report maintenance needs
Empty trash, restock supplies, and maintain an organized environment
Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure facility
Open or close the laundromat depending on shift assignment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–40 lbs
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus (not required)
Previous customer service or cleaning experience preferred
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, public environment
