Job Summary:

The Regional Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering batteries to company locations across Mississippi and Alabama. This role requires strong time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service while operating delivery vehicles and handling battery inventory.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver batteries to designated company locations throughout Mississippi and Alabama
• Load, unload, and secure batteries to prevent damage during transport
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions
• Verify delivery orders, quantities, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents
• Ensure proper handling and transport of batteries in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and site contacts
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards
• 
  QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid driver’s license REQUIRED (CDL Preferred)
• Clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items continuously (batteries may weigh 40–80+ lbs)
• Familiarity with regional routes in Mississippi and Alabama is a plus
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic communication and record-keeping abilities
• Accepting card/cash payments from Clients upon delivery.

• Working Conditions:
  Frequent travel throughout Mississippi and Alabama
• Regular lifting, bending, and physical activity
• Work performed in various weather conditions
• May require early mornings, extended hours, or occasional weekends
  
  M-F (some weekends) 6am-until done with deliveries.
