Diesel Support Technician

Located in Denton, TX

Salary: $17-19/hr

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Diesel Support Technician to support master diesel techs with the inspection, preparation, and light repair of new heavy industrial commercial trucks for a company located in Denton, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, military vehicles, electrical systems, or installations, and offers a clear path to advance into a Diesel Technician position.

Pay: $17-$19/hr

Schedule: M-F 7a-4p and occasional Saturdays

 

Preferred Backgrounds

· We welcome candidates from a variety of hands-on technical backgrounds, including:

· Fleet or vehicle maintenance experience

· Military experience working with:

o Heavy equipment

o Tactical vehicles

o Aviation ground systems

· Automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair

· Electrical, wiring, or installation work (low-voltage or vehicle systems)

· Construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or industrial maintenance

 

Basic Qualifications

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and shop practices

· Ability to read service manuals, diagrams, and instructions

· Comfortable working with electrical systems and wiring

· Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment

· Valid driver’s license

 

Nice to Have (Not Required)

· ASE certifications or technical schooling

· Experience with diesel engines or heavy-duty trucks

· Familiarity with diagnostic tools or scan software

· CDL (or willingness to obtain)
