MIG Welder – 2nd Shift 

 

Position Summary 

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder for our 2nd Shift team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of MIG welding experience and the ability to produce high-quality welds while maintaining safety and productivity standards. 

 

Schedule: 2nd Shift 

 

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Perform MIG welding on steel and other metal components according to specifications and blueprints. 

• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and welding symbols. 

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. 

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met. 

• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. 

• Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding. 

• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. 

Qualifications 

• Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience required. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding diagrams preferred. 

• Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures. 

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. 

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. 

• Reliable attendance and punctuality. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Welding certification is a plus. 

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. 

• Ability to perform basic fabrication and assembly tasks. 

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting. 

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes. 

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
