Job Title: Assembly Technician  

Job Summary 

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting units and related components according to engineering specifications and quality standards. This role ensures products are built safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry requirements. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assemble units, subassemblies, and components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment 

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings 

• Install mechanical components such as pumps, motors, valves, tubing, and electrical connections 

• Perform quality checks and inspections at various stages of assembly 

• Test completed compressors for performance, leaks, and functionality 

• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects 

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment 

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE 

• Record production data and report any inconsistencies or defects 

• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Previous experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly preferred 

• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools and equipment 

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods 

Work Environment 

• Manufacturing/industrial setting 

• Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures 

• Required use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, etc.) 

 

Physical Requirements 

• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift 

• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination 

• Ability to safely operate tools and machinery
