Schedule: Full Time | Flexible Hours

 

We have partnered with a local law firm in Northbrook to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Estate Planning Paralegal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estate planning paralegal who thrives in a detail‑driven, client‑focused legal environment and takes pride in supporting attorneys while delivering exceptional service to clients.

 

Estate Planning Paralegal Key Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning documents to include--trusts, wills, powers of attorney for health care and property, and related documents 
• Collect and organize financial and asset data
• Manage and maintain client files, both digital and physical, in accordance with firm policies 
• Conduct legal and financial research as needed 
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment  

Estate Planning Paralegal Qualifications 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal 
• Paralegal certification is a plus or relevant work experience will be considered 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
• Smokeball experience is a plus
