Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Parts Cleaner / Material Handler to join our team. This role involves power washing industrial parts, assisting with the movement of materials using an overhead crane, and preparing parts for shipment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where chemical cleaning products are used.

Key Responsibilities

• Power wash and clean industrial parts and components.
• Assist with moving materials and parts using an overhead crane.
• Load, unload, and position parts onto skids and pallets.
• Prepare parts for storage, processing, or shipment.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial cleaning, material handling, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience working around overhead cranes is preferred (training may be provided).
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working in a chemical-based industrial environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Forklift experience is an asset but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in an industrial setting.
• Comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Candidate Location Requirement

To support reliable attendance and minimize commute times, we are only considering candidates who currently reside in Burlington, Oakville, or Mississauga.
