Position Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to residential and/or commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
• Diagnose system issues and perform timely, effective repairs
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system tune-ups
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal safety regulations
• Test HVAC systems for proper operation and efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining system issues and repair solutions to clients
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC experience (residential, commercial, or both)
• EPA Certification (Required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, outdoor conditions)

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC certification or technical school training
• NATE Certification (preferred)
• Experience with refrigeration systems and controls
• Familiarity with digital diagnostic tools
