Overview:  

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join a manufacturing team in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves welding steel, aluminum, and other materials to fabricate finished products, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in reading blueprints and working with a variety of welding equipment.

 

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine project specifications
• Set up, fit, and fabricate metal components according to production schedules
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and other materials to create finished projects
• Use metal processing equipment and tools to support fabrication and assembly processes
• Inspect materials and completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Identify and report defective materials or faulty equipment to supervisors
• Complete required documentation and production paperwork accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines
• Collaborate with team members across departments such as grinding, finishing, and coating
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurements accurately
• Experience working with aluminum and steel materials
• Familiarity with fabrication tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quailyt work
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain compliance standards
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a production environment for in a production environment for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision welding tasks

Hours/Shift:
Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-10:00pm

 

Pay:
$ 28-$34/ hour DOE
