CDL Delivery Driver (Class A or B)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport building materials to residential and commercial job sites. This role combines safe driving, physical delivery work, and customer interaction to ensure materials arrive on time and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CDL trucks (26,000+ lbs; trailers as needed) to deliver materials
• Load, secure, and transport materials safely
• Deliver orders accurately to customer locations and job sites
• Assist with unloading materials, often in outdoor construction environments
• Verify shipments against invoices and maintain delivery logs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
• Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues
• Provide professional customer service and resolve delivery-related concerns
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL license
• Must be 21 years or older
• Minimum 1 year of delivery or CDL driving experience (2+ years preferred)
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
• Basic math and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting of up to 100 lbs (heavier loads with assistance)
• Ability to climb in/out of trucks and move around job sites
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Capable of bending, lifting, pushing, and prolonged physical activity
