Landscaping / Excavation Laborer
Location: Ruffsdale, PA
Pay: $20–$21/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift
Typical Hours: Depart shop around 7:30–8:00 AM, return around 6:00 PM

About the Position:
We are seeking a hardworking Landscaping and Excavation Laborer for a residential contractor in the Ruffsdale area. This is a hands-on outdoor role supporting a variety of residential site projects including grading, leveling, and general landscaping and excavation work. Candidates with equipment experience are a plus, but this is primarily a labor-focused position with training available.

Responsibilities of the Landscaping / Excavation Laborer:

• Assist with residential excavation and landscaping projects
• Perform grading, leveling, and site preparation for concrete and asphalt work
• Support installation of sod, retaining walls, driveways, and pads
• Use hand tools and basic equipment to complete daily tasks
• Assist equipment operators as needed on job sites
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Follow directions from crew leads and supervisors

 

Requirements of the Landscaping / Excavation Laborer:

• Prior construction, landscaping, or excavation experience preferred
• Equipment operation experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments
• Strong work ethic and reliability required
• Must be able to work full workdays with early start and long hours
