Schedule: Must be flexible to work either shift:

  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Shift assignment will be determined after the interview based on business needs.

Position Overview

A Fort Worth manufacturing facility is seeking a Facility Operator to support daily production operations. This position is responsible for producing and processing asphalt products, loading and unloading materials, performing minor equipment maintenance, and assisting with quality control activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, process, and monitor asphalt emulsion and polymer-modified asphalt products

  • Load and unload trucks and railcars

  • Perform minor maintenance on pumps, racks, mixers, and other plant equipment

  • Assist with product sampling and laboratory testing

  • Enter production and batch information into reports and tracking systems

  • Attend daily production, quality, and safety meetings

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures

  • Communicate effectively with operators, management, trucking companies, and customers

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, plant, production, or industrial experience preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance

  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and materials

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work assigned shift and remain flexible as business needs change

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the shift

  • Ability to wear required PPE including hard hat, face shield, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots
