Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Production Worker for a grain milling facility in north St. Louis. This is a labor-intensive role in a very dusty, non-climate-controlled environment, and we want to be upfront about what the job involves so you can decide if it's the right fit.

• $22.26 per hour
• Roughly 56 hours per week with significant overtime opportunity

The Schedule

This position follows a rotating three-week shift cycle that repeats continuously:

• Weeks 1-3: First shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weeks 4-6: Second shift, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Weeks 7-9: Third shift, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

You must be fully available for all three shifts as the rotation continues indefinitely.

What You'll Be Doing

For your first three months, your primary responsibilities will be facility cleaning and maintenance tasks, including:

• Shoveling wheat dust and grain residue into barrels
• Using air pumps to clean off milling machines
• Keeping the production area clean and compliant with safety standards

After the initial cleaning phase, duties will expand into broader production support work within the grain mill.

Work Environment, Please Read Before Applying

• This is a very dusty grain mill environment
• The facility is not climate controlled: if it is hot outside, it will be hot inside
• A respirator is required and will be worn throughout your shift
• This is physically demanding, labor-intensive work

• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule long-term
• Reliability and a strong work ethic in demanding physical environments
• Comfort working in dusty, non-climate-controlled conditions
• Previous experience in light industrial, general labor, or grain/food production is a plus
