Field Lead Handyperson
Location: Ventura County, Santa Barbara County & Los Angeles County

Compensation: $19–$22+ per hour, depending on skills and experience. Overtime available.

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Lead Handyperson to join a growing property maintenance and remodeling team. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for advancement for the right candidate. The position starts as a temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent direct-hire position based on performance and business needs.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Is mechanically inclined and enjoys troubleshooting and repairing a variety of issues
• Has experience with general maintenance and repair work, including:
  • Drywall repair and patching
  • Painting
  • Basic plumbing
  • Basic electrical work
  • Carpentry and door repairs
  • General property maintenance
• Can work independently and lead by example in the field
• Has strong communication and customer service skills
• Is reliable, punctual, and professional
• Holds a valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record

Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and remodeling work at commercial and residential properties
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
• Communicate with customers and office staff regarding job progress
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Travel throughout Ventura County and surrounding areas as needed

Position Details

• Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime and weekend work
• Consistent year-round work; not project-to-project employment
• Supportive office team to assist field operations
• Competitive hourly pay with growth opportunities
• Background check and drug screen required
• Company vehicle may be available; mileage reimbursement provided when using a personal vehicle

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
