Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Store Manager for a growing company with locations in Epworth and Earlville, Iowa. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, developing team members, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. We're looking for an energetic leader who enjoys working alongside their team, driving results, and creating a positive environment for both employees and customers.

What You'll Do

As the Store Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the store while ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and a well-trained team. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing scheduling, inventory, merchandise ordering, and overall store operations.
• Recruiting, training, coaching, and developing employees while fostering a positive team culture.
• Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships and overseeing product deliveries.
• Supporting food service operations, including ensuring quality, freshness, and food safety standards are met.
• Monitoring daily financial transactions, payroll reporting, and store performance.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment.
• Utilizing store management software, including Red River, to support inventory and operational needs.

 

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can balance customer service, team development, and business operations in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in retail, convenience stores, food service, fast food, or a supervisory role is preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and remain active throughout the workday.
