Community Manager – Property Management | Salem, OR

Pay: $28.00–$31.00 per hour, DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week

 

Are you an experienced Community Manager looking for a rewarding career in property management? Our client in Salem, Oregon is hiring a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of an 80+ unit apartment community while maintaining high occupancy, resident satisfaction, and team performance.

 

This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibilities in leasing, marketing, resident relations, team supervision, and property operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of an 80+ unit apartment community.

• Oversee leasing, marketing, and occupancy goals.

• Screen rental applications and verify employment and rental history.

• Enforce community policies and issue legal notices as needed.

• Supervise, train, and develop team members.

• Manage resident relations and resolve issues promptly.

• Review advertising and marketing efforts weekly.

• Monitor budgets, expenses, rent collections, and deposits.

• Inspect property grounds, vacant units, and move-in ready apartments.

• Prepare reports, maintain resident files, and ensure proper documentation.

• Coordinate vendors and oversee work order completion.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Community Manager experience required.

• Property management experience required.

• Strong leasing and marketing skills.

• Experience leading and developing teams.

• Excellent resident and vendor relations skills.

• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.

• Experience with property management software preferred.

• Professional, self-motivated, and dependable.
