Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a respected, family-oriented insurance company seeking a Customer Care Representative Trainee to join their team. This position is ideal for customer service professionals who enjoy helping others, building relationships, and providing support during difficult situations.
Position Summary
The Customer Care Representative Trainee serves as a primary point of contact for policyholders, agents, and internal staff. Responsibilities include assisting with claims reporting, answering policy and billing questions, processing policy changes, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels.
This role requires professionalism, empathy, and the ability to confidently assist customers experiencing stressful situations, such as property damage or insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer and agent inquiries
- Assist with claims reporting and claim file creation
- Process policy updates and account changes
- Respond to billing and coverage questions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide support through phone, email, and written correspondence
- Perform administrative and data entry duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience required
- Call center experience is a plus, but not required
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to type accurately and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Texas driver's license required
