Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems. This role requires attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, program, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and related equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure systems meet local, state, and national codes (NFPA standards)
• Diagnose and repair system issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and management
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm systems or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire safety regulations
• Experience with commercial fire alarm panels and systems
• Low-voltage electrical experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

• NICET Certification (Level I–III)
• State or local fire alarm/license certifications
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
