Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring directly for a Box Truck Driver with a great Flooring/Cabinetry company located in the Sarasota, FL area. $20-23/hr

Duties Include:
- Operate and drive a box truck in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload flooring/cabinetry materials, equipment, and supplies onto the truck, ensuring proper handling and securement to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver flooring products to designated job sites according to delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and delivery priorities.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the box truck, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices, delivery receipts, and mileage logs, and ensure that all required documentation is complete and submitted on time.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with customers and prompt resolution of any delivery-related issues or concerns.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate equipment for loading and unloading.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and delivery schedules.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes is a plus.
