Industrial Shot Blaster – Multiple Shifts Available

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an Industrial Shot Blaster to join a leading manufacturing and fabrication operation. This position is responsible for preparing large steel components and fabricated parts by operating industrial shot blasting equipment to remove rust, mill scale, paint, and other surface contaminants prior to painting, coating, or assembly.

Available Shifts

1st Shift

• Monday – Friday

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday – Friday

• 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Weekend Shift

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday

• 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Guarantee 40 hour paid schedule.

• Enjoy four days off during the week while working a full-time schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial shot blasting equipment to clean and prepare steel surfaces

• Remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants from fabricated metal components

• Load, position, and unload materials using overhead cranes, forklifts, or material handling equipment as needed

• Inspect blasted parts to ensure quality and proper surface preparation standards are met

• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures, production requirements, and quality standards

• Assist with material movement and other production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial shot blasting, sandblasting, steel fabrication, manufacturing, welding, painting, or production environments preferred

• Experience working around large steel structures, fabricated components, or heavy equipment is a plus

• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures

• Forklift and overhead crane experience is beneficial but not required

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work around industrial machinery throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Reliable attendance and dependability are essential
