Shift: Monday - Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Overtime may be required and shifts could extend until 1:30 AM.

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Forklift Operator for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity with a food manufacturing company in Forest Grove. We are looking for a dependable individual with some prior forklift experience who is eager to learn and grow with a great company.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load, unload, and transport pallets and other materials.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and operating standards.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Six months to one year of forklift experience preferred.
• Extensive experience is not required; the company is willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic knowledge of forklift operation is required, including starting the equipment, driving, and safely lifting and transporting pallets.
• Experience operating Hyster, Yale, or Toyota forklifts is a plus.
• Experience with propane-powered forklifts is preferred, although some electric units are also used.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
