Job Title: Material Handler

Pay: Up to $19.00/hr

Schedule: 7pm-4pm M-F 

 

Express Employment Professionals of Denton County are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Perform general material handling duties, including organizing and staging inventory
• Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and materials movement
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience required
• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
