Our Scarborough client, a leading manufacturer of industrial metal detection and inspection equipment, is looking for a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their growing production team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of industrial testing equipment.
• Assemble components and products using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and material handling components.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment.
• Perform soldering and wiring as required.
• Assist with mechanical modifications and production support activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2-3 years of electro-mechanical or automated machinery assembly experience.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in electrical wiring and soldering.
• Ability to use electrical and electronic testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, and schematics.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) standards.
• Experience assembling industrial equipment, machinery, or control systems
• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing or industrial assembly

Compensation and Hours:

• Pay rate: $20 per hour 
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
