Now Hiring: Logistics Coordinator (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Romeoville, IL
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexibility required to stay late as needed)

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for a growing logistics company in Romeoville. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for direct hire for the right candidate. The position is a mix of office and warehouse responsibilities, offering a hands-on role in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Print and prepare shipping labels and documentation
• Prepare Bills of Lading (BOL) and book shipments
• Coordinate and schedule pickups with carriers
• Work with LTL (less-than-truckload) pallet shipments
• Ensure orders are picked up and shipped on time
• Perform quality checks (QC) on shipments for accuracy
• Utilize ARP systems to close out orders
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams via phone and email
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed (staging, verifying, and occasional lifting)

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of logistics experience required
• Experience with LTL shipments, BOLs, and shipping coordination
• Comfortable working in both office and warehouse settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to be cross-trained and take on multiple responsibilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not frequently)
• Flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours when needed
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required
