CNC Lathe Machinist

Located in Detroit, MI

Salary: $20+/hr

Description: Our client, a metal manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join their busy team. Core responsibilities include set up and operation of CNC Lathe machines to produce parts for the automotive and construction industries along with the ability to make adjustments and edit programs as necessary to meet quality standards. 

Location: Northwest Detroit, MI area

Position type: Evaluation hire, long term, permanent

Pay: $18+/hour based on experience  

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm 

Qualifications: An ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-2 year's CNC lathe experience including set up, editing and machine adjustments along with operation
• Programming Experience a HUGE PLUS 
• ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time and bend regularly
• Ability to report to work on time and ready to work
