The High Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating high reach forklifts to move, store, retrieve, and stage materials throughout the warehouse. This position supports inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and efficient warehouse operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a high reach forklift to transport materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products in designated warehouse locations.
• Retrieve materials from elevated racking systems and replenish picking locations as needed.
• Perform inventory transactions using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
• Verify product quantities, locations, and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience operating a high reach forklift required.
• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in operating high reach forklifts in narrow aisle environments.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
