Job Title: Assembler
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $17.51/hour (2nd shift includes 15% differential)
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
The Assembler supports production by preparing materials, building components, and verifying finished products. This role ensures all assemblies are completed accurately, tested thoroughly, and meet required quality and safety expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Gather materials, parts, and tools based on work orders or drawings and assemble components according to instructions.
  • Perform inspections and functional testing, including powered testing, to confirm product reliability and accuracy.
  • Operate and adjust equipment used to prepare materials, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation of quality checks and testing outcomes.
  • Follow safety guidelines and quality procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly (1+ year preferred) or related training.
  • Basic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
  • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
