Pipefitter Helper (Paid Training to Become a Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter)

Location: Ft. Myers, FL
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Overtime: Some overtime and Saturdays may be required

Our growing Fire Sprinkler company is looking for a motivated Pipefitter Helper who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career. No previous pipefitting experience is required—we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.

The right candidate will work alongside experienced professionals and receive hands-on training while gaining valuable industry knowledge. We also offer a company-sponsored training school program for employees who are committed to learning and growing into a Fire Sprinkler Pipefitter.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced pipefitters with the installation of fire sprinkler systems
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment
• Measure, cut, and prepare piping and fittings
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work both indoors and outdoors at commercial job sites
• Learn installation techniques, blueprints, and industry standards through on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Desire to learn a skilled trade and build a career
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
• Comfortable working on ladders and at various job sites
• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn new skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Construction or labor experience is helpful but not required
