A local plumbing company is seeking a Skilled General Laborer to assist with the installation of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems on construction sites throughout the Des Moines metro. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the trades and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation of commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete construction and installation tasks.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
• Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors and lead installers.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Travel to different job sites throughout the workweek.
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support project completion.

Qualifications:

• Previous construction, mechanical, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
