Property Maintenance Technician

Salary: $20.00 / hr - $23.00 / hr

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and helping prepare residential units for new occupants. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, respectful, and committed to providing excellent service while maintaining professionalism with residents.

Job Summary

• Complete residential maintenance work orders in apartment communities
• Replace outlets, GFCI outlets, light fixtures, and perform light electrical repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair household appliances, including dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, and other common residential equipment
• Prepare vacant units for painting by patching holes and completing drywall repairs
• Remove unwanted furniture, debris, and trash from vacant units
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine effective repair solutions
• Maintain professional boundaries with residents by directing maintenance concerns through the proper work order process
• Utilize hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Work independently while managing assignments across multiple properties
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards

Experience Required

• Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred
• Experience performing basic electrical repairs and fixture replacements
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances
• Experience with drywall patching and minor wall repairs
• Knowledge of general building maintenance practices
• HVAC experience is not required but is considered a valuable asset

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
