Job Title: Reach Truck Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to join our team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Millville, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to handle, move, and store products while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to support communication within our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production areas
• Safely store products in designated rack locations, often at elevated heights
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (GMPs)
• Accurately track inventory movements using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and staging products
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating a reach truck or similar forklift equipment required
• Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in a food manufacturing or cold storage environment is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (including refrigerated areas, if applicable)
• Basic English communication skills required; Spanish-speaking preferred
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
