Skilled Laborer – Long-Term Project in Gatlinburg, TN - $18

 

Position Overview The Skilled Laborer will support carpenters, tradespeople, and site supervisors on an active construction project in Gatlinburg. This role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling — Move, load, and unload materials throughout the jobsite.

• Site Preparation and Cleanup — Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Tool Operation — Use basic hand and power tools safely.

• Trade Support — Assist carpenters and other skilled workers as needed.

• Basic Construction Tasks — Perform measuring, cutting, fastening, staging, and other general labor duties.

• Safety Compliance — Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.

Requirements

• Construction Experience — At least one year of construction or skilled labor experience preferred.

• Physical Ability — Able to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

• Reliability — Strong attendance and willingness to learn.

• Transportation — Must have reliable transportation; basic tools are a plus.

• Teamwork — Able to follow direction and work well with others.

Pay and Schedule
