Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical / Industrial Equipment)

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime is mandatory and required when requested by leadership
Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shift (and additional shifts as needed)

Pay Rate

$16.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support the repair, maintenance, and optimization of machinery and automated manufacturing equipment. This role requires hands-on expertise in mechatronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment
• Diagnose and repair PLC systems, control systems, VFDs, motors, wiring, and HMI interfaces
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Inspect and maintain motors, belts, bearings, gears, fluid levels, filters, and related components
• Work with relay logic, sensors (photo-eyes, proximity switches), solenoids, and control components
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and technical manuals
• Complete CMMS work orders accurately for maintenance tracking and inventory control
• Maintain effective communication with Maintenance Supervisor regarding repairs and equipment status
• Use precision tools and testing instruments (volt/ohm meter, diagnostic equipment, etc.)
• Operate welding equipment (arc welding, acetylene torch) as needed for repairs and fabrication
• Perform rigging and safe removal/installation of equipment parts
• Support facility maintenance tasks including basic carpentry, mechanical repairs, and installations
• Conduct SMAT audits and safety checks as required
• Follow all PPE requirements and complete “One Minute to Think” safety practice before each task
• Identify and report all safety, environmental, or equipment concerns immediately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper waste disposal procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be able to work overtime and flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, and additional as needed)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience required
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must pass background check and drug screening prior to assignment
