Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily flow of inventory and materials for a busy flooring and tile supplier. This is an independent role focused on managing warehouse operations, inventory, deliveries, and customer support. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of heavy lifting, experienced in warehouse operations, and comfortable interacting with customers.

This position manages materials and warehouse functions rather than supervising employees. The current Warehouse Manager will remain available during the transition period to assist with training and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, and maintain inventory of flooring, tile, and installation materials.
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a forklift to move and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Pull, prepare, and verify customer orders for pickup or delivery.
  • Deliver materials using a company vehicle when needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep warehouse areas clean and organized.
  • Assist customers by providing basic product information regarding tile, flooring products, installation materials, and maintenance systems.
  • Process customer purchases and assist with point-of-sale transactions as needed.
  • Work closely with store staff to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
  • Must be insurable to operate a company vehicle.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of warehouse operations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the flooring, tile, construction, or building materials industry.
  • Knowledge of tile products, flooring materials, and installation supplies.
  • Previous tile or flooring installation experience.
  • Experience assisting customers with product recommendations and maintenance information.
