We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to a manufacturing team in the Brampton area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal plant operations.

Days: 7:30AM-4:00PM

$30.00/hour

Pay increase to $31/hour after 3 months and full benefits

Duties:

• Have deep understanding in troubleshooting machines either mechanical or electrical problems.
• Have better understanding to solve issues on their own with minimum supervision.
• Know how to do preventive maintenance both in mechanical and electrical.
• Able to do basic electrical works like changing lights, outlets and switches.
• Hands-on experience in welding machines, MIG or TIG, is a MUST because of some metal fabrication projects.
• Have knowledge to read, understand and follow blueprints on both mechanical and electrical drawings.
• With actual experiences in using and following Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures.
• Know how to replace bearings, belts, chain rollers, drive shafts, motors, gearbox, air hoses, air fittings, air gauges, air cylinders, solenoid valves and etc.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ Years of Experience in a maintenance role preferably in steel or industrial manufacturing
• References to confirm your maintenance experience
